Admission Requirements

Applicants to the MAcCHM and DAcCHM program must have completed at least two years of undergraduate education (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) at a university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, with a minimum grade of C or Pass in all coursework. 

Academic credentials earned outside the United States must be evaluated by a recognized U.S. credential evaluation agency.

  3. A Type written one-page Statement of Purpose.
  4. Resume
  5. Two letters of recommendation sent directly to CUSV
  6. Two recent photographs (2” passport photo)
  7. Copy of passport and ID card
  8. Transcripts sent from the college(s)/university(ies) you have attended which may apply to your degree or may be transferable towards the Master of Acupuncture with a Chinese herbal medicine specialization program.

CUSV has a “rolling admissions” policy, which allows for the submission of an application at any time. Academic trimesters start in January, May, and September, and prospective students are encouraged to apply for admission well in advance of their anticipated entrance date.

CHUANG’S FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

In order to memorize the TCM doctor, Dr. Sanchiao Lin 林三樵, who was a distinguished master of TCM in Taiwan. He loved TCM and expected it to be widely disseminated worldwide. Chuang’s family Foundation established a scholarship at California University-Silicon Valley in Fall 2019, to encourage excellent students who dedicate in TCM study, with a commitment to the TCM profession after graduation.
